Carrie Grace - CEO
Carrie Grace is a nonprofit leader, educator, and first responder dedicated to dismantling systemic inequities in Cleveland. She is the Founder & CEO of Grace Education Institute and business owner of VitalPath Initiative, bringing holistic, trauma-informed programming to schools, while also serving as a firefighter/EMT. Adopted early on in her life and mother of five, Carrie draws on her lived experience, 15+ years in educational leadership, and pursuit of her MBA at St. Bonaventure University to empower youth and strengthen communities.

Bree has spent over a decade leading in healthcare, but her true passion is helping kids and communities get the support they deserve. As our Chief Impact Officer, she’s bringing her passion for leadership and community impact into education. She’s excited to help Grace Education Institute grow and make sure every student has the resources they need to thrive.

Matt Mullet - Intervention Specialist
Matt Mullet is an Intervention Specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting students in both traditional and alternative educational settings. He holds master’s degrees in Special Education from Kent State University and in Physical Education from the University of Akron, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Leisure Studies and Athletic Coaching. Matt has experience working with K–12 students, focusing on academic intervention, IEP goal progress monitoring, and individualized learning strategies. His favorite areas to teach are math and functional life skills, and he’s passionate about helping students build confidence through personalized instruction. Outside of education, I enjoy coaching sports and spending time with his family.

Samantha Murphy - Intervention & Literacy Specialist
Description goSamantha Murphy is an Intervention and Literacy Specialist certified K-12. Samantha has worked with diverse populations of learners for 11 years in places such as Thailand, India, and right here in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Mild to Moderate, K-12), and a Masters in Education with a Literacy speciality. Samantha is also certified in Orton Gillingham multi-sensory program which is great for student with dyslexia. Samantha is most passionate about helping students see success in fun ways and grow in their self esteem as learners. es here
