FREE Mental Health & Behavioral Health
We provide direct mental health and behavioral health services to students in 1:1 and small group settings. For students qualifying for Medicaid, we are able to offer FREE services. Yes, that’s right! VitalPath Initiative delivers school-based mental and behavioral health services at no cost to the school. We bill insurance directly. No program fees or administrative charges are assessed to the school. For students without Medicaid, we will use grants, donations and scholarships to cover a large portion of the cost to the school.
What's included (Clinical Services):
Evidence-informed behavioral health assessment and treatment
Care coordination
Crisis response (following school protocols)
Psycho-education and skills training
RN behavioral-health nursing
Basic medical screenings (vitals, wellness checks, TB/vision/hearing)
Staffing: Services are provided by:
Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals
Licensed psychologists
LISW/LSW (Licensed Independent Social Workers)
BCBA/BCaBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysts)
(QMHS) Qualified Mental Health Specialists
All staff are background-checked (BCI/FBI), HIPAA-trained, and trained in mandated reporting and crisis/suicide protocols.

Referral Submitted
A referral is submitted by school staff or family
Collaborate with Families
VPI contacts the parent/guardian to explain services and schedule intake
Assess Needs
A licensed clinician completes a clinical assessment
Therapy Plan Implemented
An individualized treatment plan with measurable goals is developed
